Youth technology uses continues to be an important topic in our ever-changing world, with many parents and caregivers worried that their kids are spending too much time online. In this webinar, we will explore what healthy technology use looks like across development, highlighting how children and teens meet their developmental and social needs through digital tools, while acknowledging the risks related to overuse. We will discuss the crucial role of parents and caregivers in guiding children towards building balanced digital habits and offer practical advice for promoting healthy relationships in the digital age. We will also touch on how school communities can help families continue to build healthy technology habits outside of the home. By the end, participants will gain valuable insights and actionable tips to support their child's healthy relationship with technology, ensuring it enhances rather than detracts from their well-being.
